Upcoming Events
We're so glad you looked here! There are so many events, everywhere, all the time, and we're all so busy—the last thing any of us need or have time for is another big event that we just show up for and sit through as a spectator. Prayer doesn't need to be attached to a particular fellowship, or a big event with a light show and smoke machine, or with big name speakers and worship leaders. Rather, it is an invitation for each of us, no matter how young or old, no matter what denomination or practice, no matter what anything, to get a private audience with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Best of all, no reservation is needed.
God said, " if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Sure, this was said to a specific people at a specific time, but this is also a timeless invitation from our good Father in Heaven to let Him work in our hearts and lives. And what an amazing invitation it is! Come and turn back to God, lay down your burdens and pride, and seek Him. Not once, but always.
Imagine if every believer in every town did this on a regular basis? We all spend so much time and energy worrying and fretting that things are not going well in our hearts, homes, schools, cities, churches, government (wow, do we hear a lot about this!), but that time and energy put into worrying and talking about it and tweeting about it does nothing at all. Instead of worrying and arguing, let's pray, and let's see what God will do in our communities.

Every Friday - take some time to head to the city center and pray.
Sometime morning, noon, or night, take 40 minutes to pray through 8 points. These are just a suggestion to get you started—the idea is just to pray. Take a solitary prayer walk or grab a group of 2 or 3, or even get a table at one of the restaurants if you prefer the AC! No big groups or gatherings or attention necessary—let's just come out and love on our towns through prayer, asking and trusting God to help us!
